WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND IMPRESSION ORIGINALE?
Oh well, excellent question. IMPRESSION ORIGINALE was established in 2016 by Mathilde and Claire, originally French but true believers of a border-less world. We have founded IMPRESSION ORIGINALE on strong social and environmental values. We believe we can do good business, where each of us have a part to play. WHERE ARE THE PRODUCTS MADE?
Our products are made in France, manufactured, printed and shipped from a small town in the Loire Valley called Angers. We rely on an independent, family-run business in South France to supply our ribbons — and we’re mighty proud to be able to only count suppliers who share our values for environmental concerns that are FSC, PEFC labelled and ISO certified.. HOW BIG IS THE MAXI SHEET OF GIFT WRAP?
All our maxi sheets of gift-wrap are standard: they are all 60x86cm, which is larger than the usual standard size 50x70cm. The maxi sheets allow you to wrap a very large square box L40cm x W30cm x H10cm.
Our maxi sheets of gift-wrap are made of a high quality weight, at 115/g grammage.
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE RIBBONS?
The ribbons all come in a standard size of 2.5m, which is perfect for a large bow on a very large parcel. We tried it for you!
MY RIBBON ARRIVED SLIGHTLY CREASED – WHAT CAN I DO?
Each and every order is hand picked with the greatest care and wrapped extremely well. However it is possible due to the nature of our products, that the ribbons may get slightly creased. If this happens, we recommend ironing them under a wet cloth for a perfect result.
HOW IS THE PARCEL PREPARED?
Each parcel is prepared with the greatest care, by hand. The maxi sheets of gift-wrap are delicately rolled, protected in a silk paper and sealed with our Impression Originale stickers. Each ribbon is neatly folded and pinned with a tag, then put in the middle of the rolled wrapping papers. The parcel is then posted within a gorgeous water-resistant grey shipping tube.
WHAT IS IN MY PARCEL?
Each parcel is prepared with the greatest care, by hand. Depending on your order, you could find:
- Maxi sheets of gift-wrap (60x82cm) delicately rolled and protected in silk paper
- Neatly folded ribbons (2.5m per ribbon) pinned with a tag
- Complimentary stickers with our logo to add the final touch to your gift
- A grey expedition tube, water resistant, reusable or recyclable
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, CB and Paypal. The transaction is converted from EUR. Only one card can be applied per order.

A PRODUCT IS OUT OF STOCK WILL IT REAPPEAR?
The items in our major collections will be restocked regularly. However our capsule collections are produced in limited editions an will not be restocked. You can enter your email address on an out of stock product an we will let you know when the product will be ready to purchase when it is back in stock.
CAN I FIND YOUR PRODUCTS LOCALLY?

WHAT ARE YOUR OPERATING HOURS?
Our amazing team is busy working hard assembling products, fulfilling orders, brainstorming new product ideas, and answering your questions Monday through Friday on business hours by email. We do not ship any orders on Saturdays or Sundays.
DO YOU OBSERVE ANY HOLIDAYS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR?
IMPRESSION ORIGINALE will be closed on the following days in observance of the French holidays: New Year (1 Jan), Easter, Labour Day (1 May), 8 May, Ascension, Pentecost, Bastille Day (14 Jul), Assumption, All Saints (1 Nov), Remembrance Day (11 Nov), Christmas (25 Dec.).
ORDERS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO SHIP?
All orders will ship from our fulfillment facility within 1-2 business days from when the order is placed. From there, it will take about 1-4 business days for orders, depending on the selected shipping method, to be delivered within France.
Colissimo 1-3 days TNT +1 days Mondial Relay 3-4 days
For international orders it will take from 8-21 business days depending on the selected shipping method and the place of destination.
You can check your order’s status by logging into your account and going to MY ACCOUNT. Once your order has shipped, we’ll drop you an email letting you know it’s on its way. That email will include tracking information.
HOW CAN I FIND OUT THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

Our prices are dependent on the final destination and the chosen carrier. Our shipping costs are reflected in the checkout VAT. We present you the prices below excluding VAT, please add 20% for the final price.

WHAT IS IMPRESSION ORIGINALE’S RETURN POLICY?
Provided the delicate nature of our papers, only unopened orders in their original shipping tube may be returned within 15 days of receipt for a refund. Once we receive the returned item(s) the charges will be credited to your original method of payment excluding shipping costs, which are non-refundable. Used, opened, and/or final sale items cannot be returned.
CAN MY RETURN BE REFUNDED?
Typically your refunds will be credited to the original method of payment, however if you wish to receive a voucher instead, it is possible – in this case please contact us at email@example.com and our customer service team will be happy to help you.
IF I PLACE AN ORDER, WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED?
Your card will be charged at the time your order is placed.
DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?
We are required to collect sales tax in France. For all orders placed on the website, a sales tax of 20% does apply.
IS MY TRANSACTION SECURE?
We take the utmost care and concern for your privacy while you are shopping on our site. The information we collect is solely used to contact you about your order if necessary. Transactions on our site are 3DS secured to ensure your personal information (especially your name, address, and credit card number) stays out of the wrong hands and cannot be read or intercepted as it travels to our payment processing system.
WHY IS MY CARD BEING DECLINED WHEN I TRY TO PLACE AN ORDER?
This is likely happening because the billing address you are using does not match the billing address tied to your card. Please make sure to double check that the billing address is correct, and then try again. If you are still experiencing problems, you may wish to contact the issuing bank of your credit card regarding this matter, and then inform us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org of any additional information.
HOW DO I USE A PROMO CODE?
