WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND IMPRESSION ORIGINALE ?
Oh well, excellent question. IMPRESSION ORIGINALE was established in 2016 by Mathilde and Claire, originally French but true believers of a border-less world. We have founded IMPRESSION ORIGINALE on strong social and environmental values. We believe we can do good business, where each of us have a part to play. WHERE ARE THE PRODUCTS MADE ?
Our products are made in France, manufactured, printed and shipped from a small town in the Loire Valley called Angers. We rely on an independent, family-run business dating back to 1905 in Saint Just Malmont (close to Saint Etienne city) in South France to supply our ribbons — and we’re mighty proud to be able to only count suppliers who share our values for environmental concerns that are FSC and PEFC labelled and ISO certified. HOW BIG IS THE MAXI SHEET OF GIFT WRAP ?
All our maxi sheets of gift-wrap are of 2 standard: they are all either 60x86cm or 70x100cm, which is more than the usual standard sold around (50x70cm). They maxi sheet allow you to wrap a very large square box (L50cm x W40cm x H20cm).
Our maxi sheets of gift-wrap are of superior quality grammage: 115g/m2.
All our papr is 100% recycled.
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE RIBBONS ?
The ribbons all come in a standard size of 2.5m, which is perfect for a large bow even for a very large parcel. We tried it for you!
MY RIBBON ARRIVED SLIGHTLY CREASED – WHAT CAN I DO ?
Despite each order is executed with the greatest care, it is possible that the ribbons get slightly creased during the shipment, as they are made of fabric. We recommend to iron them under a wet cloth for a perfect result (velvet, gros grain, suit, satin).
HOW IS THE PARCEL PREPARED ?
Each parcel is prepared with the greatest care, by hand. The maxi sheets of gift-wrap are delicately rolled, protected in a silk paper and sealed with one of our pretty stickers. Each ribbon is neatly folded and pined with a tag, then put in the middle of the rolled wrapping papers. The parcel is a gorgeous grey shipping tube (70cm), water resistant.
WHAT IS IN MY PARCEL ?
Each parcel is prepared with the greatest care, by hand. Depending on your order, you could find:
- Maxi sheets of gift-wrap delicately rolled and protected in silk paper
- Neatly folded ribbons (2,5m per ribbon) pined with a tag
- Complimentary stickers with our logo to add the final touch to your gift
- A grey expedition tube, water resistant, reusable or recyclable
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT ?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, google Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal. Payments are converted from EUR. Only one card may be applied per order.
WHAT TYPE OF OPERATING SYSTEM AND BROWSER DO I NEED TO SHOP ON THE IMPRESSION ORIGINALE.COM ?
We continually test our site on new versions of browsers and do our best to offer the smoothest experience on the most up-to-date versions of all browsers and platforms. If you are experiencing issues with your browser of choice we kindly suggest clearing your cookies, or try using a different browser. CAN IMPRESSION ORIGINALE ASSIST MY COMPANY WITH GIFT GIVING AND BULK ORDERS ?
You are welcome to email contact@impressionoriginale.com with the details of your event or bulk order and our team will respond to you shortly regarding your request.
A PRODUCT IS OUT OF STOCK WILL IT REAPPEAR ?
The items in the major collections will be restocked as soon as possible. However, the pieces from our ‘Capsule collections’ are produced in limited editions and will not be restocked. So make sure you have them before it is too late. You can enter your email address on an “out of stock” product and we will let you know when the product will be back on our site.
CAN I FIND YOUR PRODUCTS LOCALLY ?
Yes we are expanding in stores to be distributed around the world. Check our current distribution places here.
WHAT ARE YOUR OPERATING HOURS ?
Our amazing team is busy working hard assembling products, fulfilling orders, brainstorming new product ideas, and answering your questions Monday through Friday on business hours by email. We do not ship any orders on Saturdays or Sundays.
DO YOU OBSERVE ANY HOLIDAYS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR ?
IMPRESSION ORIGINALE will be closed on the following days in observance of the French holidays: New Year (1 Jan), Easter, Labour Day (1 May), 8 May, Ascension, Pentecost, Bastille Day (14 Jul), Assumption, All Saints (1 Nov), Remembrance Day (11 Nov), Christmas (25 Dec.).
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO SHIP ?
All orders will ship from our fulfillment facility within 1-2 business days from when the order is placed. From there, it will take about 1-4 business days for orders, depending on the selected shipping method, to be delivered within France.
Colissimo 1-3 days TNT +1 days
For international orders it will take from 4-16 business days depending on the selected shipping method and the place of destination.
You can check your order’s status by logging into your account and going to My Orders. Once your order has shipped, we’ll drop you an email letting you know it’s on its way. That email will include tracking information.
HOW CAN I FIND OUT THE STATUS OF MY ORDER ?
Please login to your customer page in order to follow the status of your order. If something seems to be going wrong or if you have a specific question, please email our customer service team at contact@impressionoriginale.com and they will be happy to let you know the status of your order should you have any questions or concerns.
WHAT ARE IMPRESSION ORIGINALE’S SHIPPING COSTS ?
List of current shipping costs per destination // time frame / per expedition tube depend on the weight and volume of your order. The shipping costs display automatically on check-out, once you have entered your address.
WHAT IS IMPRESSION ORIGINALE’S RETURN POLICY ?
Provided the delicate nature of our papers, only unopened orders only in their original shipping tube may be returned within 15 days of receipt for a refund. Once we receive the returned item(s) the charges will be credited to your original method of payment excluding shipping costs, which are non-refundable. Used, opened, and/or final sale items cannot be returned.
CAN MY RETURN BE REFUNDED IN THE FORM OF A GIFT CARD ?
At this time, gift cards are not an option for refunds and all refunds will be credited to the original method of payment. If you are returning an item that was gifted to you, please contact us at contact@impressionoriginale.com and our customer service team will be happy to help you.
IF I PLACE AN ORDER, WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED ?
Your card will be charged at the time your order is placed.
DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX ?
We are required to collect sales tax in France. For all orders placed on the website for France, a sales tax of 20% does apply. All other destinations (outside of the euro zone) are VAT free. You will have to cover the incoming tax at destination in your country.
IS MY TRANSACTION SECURE ?
We take the utmost care and concern for your privacy while you are shopping on our site. The information we collect is solely used to contact you about your order if necessary. Transactions on our site are secured to ensure your personal information (especially your name, address, and credit card number) stays out of the wrong hands and cannot be read or intercepted as it travels to our payment processing system.
WHY IS MY CARD BEING DECLINED WHEN I TRY TO PLACE AN ORDER ?
This is likely happening because the billing address you are using does not match the billing address tied to your card. Please make sure to double check that the billing address is correct, and then try again. If you are still experiencing problems, you may wish to contact the issuing bank of your credit card regarding this matter, and then inform us by email at contact@impressionoriginale.com of any additional information.
HOW DO I USE A PROMO CODE ?
Promo codes may be entered during the COUPON CODE step in the checkout process. Simply type or paste your code in the box provided, and then click CONTINUE. Only one promo code may be applied per order.
DO YOU OFFER PERSONALISED WEDDING WRAPPING PAPER AND RIBBONS ?
Yes, we offer a full range of personalised wrapping papers for all occasions to celebrate! Please email us at contact@impressionoriginale.com or fill in the form on our CONTACT PAGE to discuss about our exceptional designs. At this time, we consider any requests; including wedding wrapping paper but bear in mind a certain time frame is necessary to prepare a special order.
