Chloé Lefeuvre
Chloé Lefeveuvre is a French free-lance textile designer.
After graduating from a technical degree in Textile Art in Paris at the school Duperré, she left to Lyon to pursue her post-graduate with a degree as a designer, textile creator.
Her passion? Creating and coloring illustrations. So Chloé decides to make it her full-time job! She starts working for printing agencies, before getting hired for the design office of Monoprix and later on Hermès. She decides to go her own way as a free-lance. She now develops her own collection and can work on commission. She lives in Drôme region with her family and contracts for clothing brands, interior decoration clients and stationary companies. You can discover her work during professional exhibits or on appointment.
What is your source(s) of inspiration, what moves you?
I am very sensitive to the light, the colours have the power to make me feel overwhelmed.
What is the most amazing present you ever received?
My daughter gave me a gift bag she made herself filled with “home gift vouchers”. There was one for a good massage, or one to help empty the dishwasher, or a good meal… she made a dozen of them.
Do you work at night or during the day?
During the day.
The artist you crave for (at the moment)
I like a lot the work of the interior architect India Mahdavi, quite a subtle balance between modernity and tradition. I am found of her choice of shapes and harmonious color hues.
Your favorite museum, your favorite drink
The incredible Palace of the “Facteur Cheval” in France where a man sublimized its dream. His house his a museum (or should be). A good coffee.
